Her voice is soft and full of regret as she whispers his name. The coven will be arriving soon; they'll all want their share of him now. She swallows hard, trying not to think about what will happen if they find out that she spared him. But for tonight, at least, he is hers and hers alone.

She watches as he gets up from the couch, still a little unsteady on his feet, and heads towards the door. "Take care of yourself,"

She whispers as he reaches the exit. There's a part of her that hopes he'll come back; another that knows it would be better if he never did. The door swings shut behind him with a soft click, leaving her alone in the dimly lit room with nothing but her thoughts and regrets for company.
