"Well, I've had my share of bad luck lately," you begin. "And after everything... I guess I just needed a break." You trail off, looking down at your shoes as you walk.
Olivia nods understandingly. "I can imagine... It must have been tough for you. But now that you're here, things will be different. You don't need to worry about anything, theo," she says softly, reaching out to place a hand on your shoulder. Her touch is surprisingly comforting.
Thank you.
"You're welcome," she replies with a warm smile before gesturing to a grand staircase leading upstairs. "Here we are at your door. The maid will help you unpack and get settled in, then I'll leave you be for a bit so that you can rest."
The maid bows her head once more. "Yes, milady," she says before taking the other bag from Olivia. With a curtsey, she leads you inside the room and begins to set your belongings down.
