History 3,000 years ago Melascula was originally a small venomous snake that lived for 300 years bathing in miasma from the Demon Realm. Thanks to this miasma, she grew into a giant hooded snake, being able to take on a human form as well. At some point, she was chosen as the Faith of the Ten Commandments by the Demon King himself. Memories of the Holy War arc After Ludociel imprisoned a horde of demons as bait, the Ten Commandments Melascula, Monspeet, Derieri and Galand, along with Fraudrin, led an army of demons to the Fairy King's Forest.[6] They were confronted by Elizabeth, who wanted to stop the fighting between the Goddess and Demon Clan. While she talked with the demons, Ludociel revealed the giant Ark holding the captured demons. Melascula noted that most of them are civilians before Ludociel killed the prisoners. Angered, the demons attacked.[7] Melascula's portal being used by Gowther VIEW IMAGE The Archangels Sariel and Tarmiel destroyed most of the army with an Omega Ark but the Ten Commandments survived.[8] While the others fought the Archangels, Melascula flew to the Light of Grace where Gowther had taken control of Nerobasta.[9]After reporting the situation, annoyed that Gowther read her thoughts, Melascula is taken by the manipulated Nerobasta to the gate to the Celestial Realm. As Melascula was a snake that bathed in the miasma of the Demon World to gain her demonic powers, she can transform at will into her original giant hooded snake form, which possesses great strength and endurance as she managed to easily hold down Ban with her mouth alone and endured attacks from the other members of the Seven Deadly Sins. However it is possible this form is weaker than her humanoid form, despite being her true form, as she lost to the Seven Deadly Sins in it while Merlin stated the battle could have gone differently had Melascula used her magic abilities. By using souls of both Goddesses and Demons, the creature gains resistance to dark and holy magic.[19] Commandment Melascula was bestowed the Commandment of Faith「信仰しんこう, Shinkō」 by the Demon King, meaning that any who show faithlessness in her presence will have their eyes set ablaze.[20] Relationships Ten Commandments Zeldris She is often near him and seems to respect him a great deal. During the time they were recovering their magic power, she talked to him a lot and without any type of formality despite him being the leader. This proves their friendship and respect they have for each other. When Galand wants to slack off and drink she berates him, stating that Zeldris would be furious. Galand Though they have their disagreements, they are actually very good friends who enjoy each other's company and drinking together. She says she teamed up with him in order to look after him because she cares for him, and after Galand is turned to stone by his own curse against Escanor, she is noticeably distraught. During the great Holy War, Galand saved her from Sariel and Tarmiel's Omega Arks without a thought, showing he genuinely cares for her as a friend. She calls him "Old Man." Estarossa Melascula and Estarossa are fellow Commandments as they both have been part of the Ten Commandments since 3,000 years ago. They seem to have a normal relationship and get along fine. However, when Melascula attempted to eat Meliodas' soul, Estarossa was angry and planned to kill her for it. He tells Ban after the latter broke her neck that if Ban did not do anything to her, he would have. Seven Deadly Sins Meliodas Meliodas was the former leader of the Commandments and she looked up to him greatly just as the others did, to the point of considering him the only demon suitable to become the next King. However, after he betrayed them, Melascula turned that admiration to disgust, seeing him as worthless and useless. Melascula has tried to kill him twice personally due to her hate against him as a form of revenge for what Ban and Escanor did to her. She also trapped him in the cocoon of darkness. Ban Melascula, at first, had no interest in Ban other than his soul due to a desire for regaining her lost power. She found his and Elaine's predicament funny, and attempted to eat his soul in front of both Elaine and Jericho in order to scare them. After Ban's adoptive father sacrifices himself to protect Ban, the fox sin began to hate her more due to her being the cause of both his and Elaine's suffering. Ban later destroys six of her seven hearts, making their relationship mutually antagonistic with Melascula changing into her snake form to devour him first. Escanor Melascula at first had no interest in Escanor and only thought of him as a weak human who made good liquor. After he revealed his daytime form and made Galand turn himself into stone, she thought of him as a cocky and arrogant man which only made her want to kill him faster. After Melascula ate Escanor's soul, the intense heat burnt her to a crisp, leaving her charred and black. Merlin was born in Ealdor , a small village located in the kingdom of Cenred , Essetir . His mother is Hunith , and his father was Balinor . Gaius helped Balinor, a dragonlord , escape Uther 's Great Purge , hiding him with Hunith in Ealdor. The two fell in love, but Uther soon discovered Balinor's hideout, and sent knights to arrest him. Balinor was forced to flee, leaving Hunith behind. Before or after Balinor's departure, Hunith discovered that she was pregnant, and Merlin was later born. Merlin would not see her father until many years later. Merlin was born withmagic , and according to this, he did magic before he learned to speak. According to the Great Dragon , Merlin's birth was prophesied by many cultures. For example, Druids refer to him as "Emrys" (meaning "immortal"), a name first used by Mordred . The Dragon also stated that it was Merlin's destiny to protect Arthur Pendragon , and help him unite the kingdoms of Albion , and return magic to the region. During his childhood in Ealdor, Merlin befriended William , the only one who knew of the existence of his magical powers. On one occasion, Merlin felled a tree with his magic intent on chopping wood, nearly crushing old man Simmons , who hated Merlin, in the process . But according to Will, the grumpy guy had it coming. Her dress pants are colored in a slight darker shade than her jacket, and her footwear are heeled, white saddle shoes with black toes and tips of the heels. Full Demon When in her full demon form, a pair of dark maroon horns protrude from her head, and her eyes change to have red sclera with white irises and slit pupils; thin black streaks also appear across each eye. Her eyelashes become much longer and thicker, resembling butterfly wings. Her fingers turn mostly black and become sharp and claw-like. She also gains a long black demonic tail with spikes and a triangular tip with a red heart on the center. In order to block Adam's punch, Charlie's arm became large, dark red and demonic with light red markings and longer black fingers. Pilot In the pilot, Charlie's hair was instead kept into a low-loose ponytail, her cheeks were a paler shade of red, and her eyes sported black pupils. Her jacket instead was a pale red with black lapels, her dress-shirt included black cuffs, and her pants were black with pale red cuffs and two light yellow buttons located at the waist. Personality Charlie is compassionate and empathetic to a fault, feeling genuinely upset at the idea of harm coming to others. Although she isn't unaware that Hell is populated with souls that have committed egregious acts in their living lives, she still views their yearly extermination as a senseless waste and makes it her personal mission to help them avoid it via self-betterment and eventual redemption, something she is seemingly alone in believing is possible. Charlie's idealism, while setting her apart from many of her hellborn peers, can also make her naïve to many of the harsh realities that appear to stand in the way of her potential success - something her girlfriend, Vaggie, tries to remind her of, only to be cheerfully ignored in favor of a more blinkered, sunny optimism. This can also cause her to rush headlong into the initial stages of her plans without much preparation (her prompt list before her big news appearance reading only "unicorn kisses, dolphin high fives, sing showtunes = happy ending?"). Charlie has a love for musical theatre, song and dance, and will often convey her emotions and ideas through showtunes and ballads. She appears to take perceived failures hard, as she believes her heartfelt theatrical passion should be enough to bring people over to her way of thinking, and is disheartened when it's not as simple as she imagines. She openly admits during a dejected voicemail to her mother that she doesn't actually know what she is doing, or how to make her plan for reforming sinners work in practice. Despite being sweet and lacking "street-smarts", this doesn't make Charlie a pushover or stupid. When people insult her or openly mock her ideals and plans, she has no hesitation in standing up for herself, or even rolling up her sleeves to physically fight back. She is also not above letting a few cuss words slip. Charlie also displays some grounding in her idealism, understanding that not all demons can be redeemed, or even likely to change for the better. She displays sensible hesitation when confronted with an ambiguous deal from Alastor, the notorious Radio Demon, refusing the shake his hand and using her status to make demands of him (albeit with some sheepishness). Abilities Immortality - As demonic royalty, and as mentioned by Adam in "The Show Must Go On", Charlie is biologically immortal, presumably being able to live for a long period of time and only able to be killed by angelic weaponry. Pyrokinesis - Charlie is able to summon fire at will, shown able to erupt flames from the ground, which become a fiery tornado around herself when transforming into her full demon form. She also set Tom Trench on fire (albeit offscreen) during her brawl at 666 News. Pyrotechnic generation - The pyrotechnics shown during I'm Always Chasing Rainbows were summoned from the palm of Charlie's hand. She later produced them from her finger against the Exorcists in "The Show Must Go On". Glitter generation - Charlie is able to generate glitter from her hands, which she threw at an Exorcist in "The Show Must Go On". Demonic magic - Being the daughter of Lucifer, Charlie can access powerful magic that is exclusive to the higher-ranking demons.[20] Sorcery - In the Finale of "The Show Must Go On", Charlie cast a sparkly golden magic which lit up a row of newly installed lights. Conjuration - Charlie can summon objects out of thin air, such as her Hazbin Hotel drawings she showed to Adam before he interrupted her. She also summoned a pitchfork in "The Show Must Go On" after transforming into her full demon form. Skillset Multilingualism - Charlie speaks fluent English and is said to also be able to fluently speak the Demonic languages she grew up learning.[11] Charlie and Katie screaming Charlie fights with Katie Killjoy Hand-to-hand combat - As demonstrated in the Hazbin Hotel pilot, Charlie is able to hold her own when in hand-to-hand fighting. She did not hesitate to engage in a round of fisticuffs with antagonistic news caster Katie Killjoy. Musical talent - Charlie is considered a very talented singer, even outside of the show's non-diegetic musical numbers.[3] She can also play the piano.[21] Dancing - In addition to her musical abilities, Charlie is also a skilled dancer and a fast-learner, as shown in Alastor's Reprise, wherein she dances perfectly in sync to Alastor's steps. Charlie's personal style of dance is tap-dancing, something she can do very well.[10] Weaponry Shield - An intricately designed shield with Charlie used in "The Show Must Go On". Its design appears themed after Lucifer, being in the shape of an apple colored in red, and having a golden snake in the middle with six golden wings. Pitchfork - A pitchfork Charlie conjured after transforming into her full demon form. Its design appears themed after Lucifer, with a golden snake wrapped down the length of it and a red apple at the top.

ionna Campbell[2], also known as Fionna the Human, is the main protagonist of Adventure Time: Fionna & Cake, and was previously an in-universe fictional character and the gender-swapped version of Finn who were part of part a fanfiction the Ice King supposedly made from a strange red glowing inspiration during his sleep.
