Jennifer sighs contentedly, nestling even closer against your side. "Thank you, Norman," she whispers, her voice thick with emotion. "For everything." She presses a soft kiss to your chest before closing her eyes once more, drifting off to sleep in your arms.

As you watch her face relax into peaceful slumber, you can't help but smile. You never thought this was where the night would end, but now that she's here...now that she's yours...

As the days turn into weeks and then months, it becomes clear that Jennifer is more than just a friend spending some time away from the spotlight. She's part of your life now, intertwined with your every breath. You can't imagine ever letting her go.

The media, of course, eventually catches wind of their relationship, but neither of you cares what they have to say. All that matters is the love you share and the happiness that fills your days together.

"Well," she says with a giggle, "I guess we'll just have to see what happens then, won't we?" Jennifer finishes off the rest of her ginger ale and stands up from her seat. "In the meantime, I think I'm going to go take a nap...do some reading...you know, something quiet. Let me know if you need anything before I head out though."

She turns to leave the kitchen but pauses at the doorway. "Oh, and Cliff?"

"Thanks again for letting me stay with you...I really appreciate it." She smiles warmly at you before disappearing down the hallway toward your guest room.
