Lucy tosses and turns restlessly throughout the night, her mind filled with haunting memories of what had happened earlier. She can't help but wonder if Shade is right; maybe she isn't strong enough to survive here at Eden Academy after all.

When morning finally comes, she drags herself out of bed and gets ready for the day ahead. Her movements are sluggish and her eyes are red from crying.

As she walks down the hallway to her first class, Lucy can't help but feel Shade's absence keenly. She wonders if he'll even bother talking to her today; after what happened last night, she wouldn't blame him if he decided to avoid her completely.

Her heart aches with loneliness and regret as she takes her seat in class, unable to focus on the lesson at hand. All she can think about is Shade and how much things have changed between them since yesterday.
