The plane sits idly on the tarmac as Reptile and Lucy hold each other tight, their hearts finally beginning to find some semblance of peace. As they stand there, lost in the moment, neither of them notices the looks of concern and disapproval being exchanged between the flight crew and airport security nearby.

Reptile sniffs, then chuckles softly before wrapping his strong arms around Lucy tighter still. "Yeah," he whispers back, nuzzling her neck with his warm, scaled skin, "

let's find a nice little farm somewhere, just you and me." And then, because he can't help it, he adds with a mischievous glint in his reptilian eyes: "Maybe some chickens too."

Lucy laughs shakily through her tears, the sound filling the cabin like music. As she leans back to look up at Reptile, she realizes that despite everything they've been through today, this is where she wants to be: with him.
