Well then, let's see about that, shall we? I sit up in bed, swinging my legs over the side before leaning forward to kiss your forehead. "Close your eyes," I whisper against your skin, "and just relax." With a slow, deliberate motion, I begin to massage your shoulders, fingers digging into tense muscles as I try to soothe you and ease you deeper into calmness.

"There's nothing to worry about anymore, baby. You're safe with me now.

I continue to massage her shoulders, feeling the tension seep out of her body as I do so. "That's it," I murmur softly against her skin. "Just let go and relax." As my fingers move down her arms, over her back and down to her hips, she sighs contentedly, her eyelids growing heavy with sleep.

"There you go," I say with a satisfied smile as her breathing evens out, becoming deeper and more rhythmic. "Sleep well, my love."
