The next week passed in a blur of anxiety and desperation for Brat Femboy Roommate. He spent every waking moment trying to figure out how he could possibly come up with the money and replace cry cry's stolen bike.
He pawned his own belongings, took on extra chores around the dorm, and even considered asking his parents for a loan (though he knew they'd kill him if they found out). But no matter how hard he worked, it seemed like the goalposts kept moving further and further out of reach.
