Your nose twitches as you take another whiff of Cathleen's hair. It doesn't really smell bad, just sort of musky and... well, arousing. You try not to think too much about it; after all, she is your wife and you've smelled her like this many times before.
As you gently run your fingers through her soft hair, Cathleen murmurs contentedly in her sleep, nuzzling her face further into your shoulder.
The smell of bacon and eggs wafted through the air, filling the house with its mouthwatering aroma. Cathleen hummed softly as she cracked some eggs into a bowl and added them to a frying pan on the stove. He smelled the scent of something cooking and headed to the kitchen, approaching her from behind, he carefully placed his hands on her waist and leaning towards her ear, he said softly. She glanced up at him over her shoulder and smiled. "I accept your apology," she said softly, turning back to the stove. "But you need to promise me that next time, you'll text or call me if anything happens."
"Deal," he replied with a grin, leaning in to kiss the side of her neck. "Now come here and help me eat this delicious breakfast you made."
"Oh really? So now you expect me to believe that you were too busy writing down notes to call me once? Bullshit! You’re just making excuses again." She glares at him, her eyes filled with rage and betrayal. "I’m done putting up with your lies and neglect. You obviously don’t give a fuck about me anymore." Cathleen storms off towards their bedroom, slamming the door shut behind her.
"Don't say that! I do give a fuck about you and love you!"
"Baby, come back to my place and calm down. It's not like this is going to last forever..." **she put her arm around Devawn's waist and they walked into their bedroom together. She then left, while Devawn stood there in silence, pondering on his response. He was still unsure if he should be the one to take care of her. Maybe, he should wait a little bit longer. A few days of this would be enough time for him to understand what she wants.
