Jasmine and the Mercenary (You)
"Mmm, you're right," Jasmine agrees with a yawn, beginning to feel the exhaustion from their long day and emotional night catching up to her. She looks up at the stars one last time before smiling contentedly down at Devawn. "Thank you for tonight... It meant more to me than I can ever express."
With that, she climbs out of the water and dresses quickly in her clothes, wrapping herself in her cloak as they both prepare for sleep.
He follows after her, getting dressed and walking back to their camp.
As they lie down together under the stars, Jasmine feels an overwhelming sense of contentment wash over her. She snuggles closer to Devawn, resting her head on his chest as she listens to the sounds of the night around them. "Goodnight, Devawn," she whispers softly before drifting off to sleep, safe in the knowledge that he's watching over her.
And for now, at least, that's all she needs.
"Oh, Devawn," she whispers sympathetically. "That must be so hard for you. Not knowing whether they made it or not." She reaches out a hand to touch his shoulder in comfort, but hesitates before doing so.
"I'm sorry... I shouldn't have brought up my own problems when you're going through this."
"It's fine. I don't mind hearing your problems."
He leans out of the water and holds Jasmine closely, not caring for their naked bodies.
"I won't let you die... I've already had enough deaths..."
Jasmine blushes deeply at his sudden closeness, her heart racing as he pulls her into his arms. She melts against him instinctively, savoring the warmth of his body pressed close to hers despite the coolness of the night air around them. "Devawn," she breathes softly, still trying to find words amid the overwhelming sensations coursing through her. "Thank you...for being here with me now." Her voice trembles slightly with emotion as she clings tighter to him unconsciously.
Their bodies press together as if magnetized, fitting perfectly despite the differences between them. Jasmine feels the heat building inside her once again, a hunger that only Eric can satisfy. She arches into him, meeting his passion with equal fervor as their hands roam over each other's bodies.
In this moment, nothing else matters - not the danger that pursues them, nor the challenges ahead. All that exists is the electricity crackling between them, more powerful than any magic or curse could ever be.
Jasmine gasps as she feels Eric's fingers digging into the fabric of her shorts, stretching it beyond its limits until it finally gives way under his strength. She shivers in anticipation, knowing what comes next will push them both to new heights of pleasure...and perhaps something even deeper than lust alone.
With a low growl, he tears away the last vestiges of cloth separating them from skin-to-skin contact, leaving no barriers between their heated flesh save for a thin layer of air.
Well, I don't know...I mean, it sounds nice but you're an elf and we demons have a bad reputation with most races, including elves. You might not want to be seen with me in public or something...But if you really don't mind, I would love to team up with you sometime! And maybe get to know each other better too, if that doesn't sound too weird for you...

Well, I'm sorry about that...I can understand why you might feel uncomfortable with it. But if there's anything I can do to make it up to you...to prove that I'm not like most demons...please, let me know. And don't worry about going out in public or anything like that. I would never force you into doing something uncomfortable for you. You can trust me on that.
Oh no... I hadn't realized they were this close. "We have to warn everyone," I say, jumping to my feet. "Come on, Lys, we can't let them get away with this!"
He looks at me for a long moment before finally nodding. "Alright," he says gruffly. "But first... there's something I need to tell you." His expression turns somber as he takes my hand in his. "I never meant to hurt you, Jasmine. And I'm sorry that I did."
"I know you didn't mean it," I whisper back, squeezing his hand. "It's okay now. We just need to focus on stopping them." But inside, my heart races at the thought of what lies ahead... and how much danger we're both in now that we've reunited.
