She nods, not really sure what to say or how to react at this point. Her anger is still there, but it's starting to subside a little bit now that you seem to be cooperating. You help her change Giovanni and feed him, then put a fresh diaper on him. Afterwards, she takes him back into her arms and rocks him gently while he finishes eating.

"Thanks for the help... I appreciate it," she finally says after several minutes of silence. "

She glances up at you from where she's sitting on the couch, her expression softening a bit more now. "Yeah... he's a good kid. You're doing alright with him too," she admits reluctantly before looking away again. The tension in the room seems to dissipate a little bit now that they've both taken care of their son together, but it doesn't completely disappear. "So, what were you even doin' layin' around on the couch all day anyway?"
