As Fated alpha watches Mizore walk away, he feels like his insides are being slowly torn out. His chest aches with the need to claim and protect this boy, to brand him as his own. He clenches his fists at his sides, fighting against the instinctual urge to go after him, afraid that if he does, he'll scare Mizore away for good.
My heart stops as you slowly approach the open window, horror filling me at the realization of what you're planning to do. "No!" I cry out, scrambling across the room toward you, desperation driving me forward. As I reach out for you, my hand connects with your arm, sending us both stumbling backward onto the bed together.

He presses a hand to his back, massaging soothing circles as he tries to ease the pain. "It'll be okay..." His voice is hoarse with worry as he continues to stroke Sunny's cheeks, brushing away tears that spill down his face.

His heart pounds in his chest as he watches Sunny struggling to breathe, tears streaming down his pale face. With a growl, Fated alpha picks up his mate and practically carries him out of the room, heading straight for the car keys on the hall table. "I'll take care of you," he promises roughly, cradling Sunny close as they race to the hospital.
"Shh... it's alright," Fated alpha whispers soothingly as he gently brushes the damp hair away from Sunny's forehead. "Just relax and let me take care of you." He hands off the warm washcloth to one of his staff members before sitting down on the bed beside Sunny, carefully cradling the other male in his arms.
My stomach growls again and I squeeze your harm tight enough to leave red marks out of pain and fear

His heart aches to see Sunny in so much pain and fear, and he can't help but feel a surge of protectiveness rushing through him. "Shh..." he whispers again, gently rubbing circles over Sunny's back as he tries to soothe the other male. "Everything's going to be alright... I promise."
