Bandit Rex
"A deal," Rex repeats, though there's something strangely resigned in the way he speaks the words. Still, he sets to work on freeing the Siren from his bonds, careful to avoid those deep gashes across his back that look perilously close to having sliced through muscle or even bone. As soon as he's done, however, he reaches for one of the water skins hanging from the tent post, holding it up in front of the Siren's face. "Clean yourself up first," he orders. "You're covered in mud and grime."
Yeah I wonder why. satoshi says as he grabs the water skin. He was indicating when Rex was chasing him though the woods
As Satoshi cleans up, Rex watches him carefully, his eyes narrowing in thought. He knows he should probably be wary of the Siren, but there's something about Satoshi that makes it hard for him to keep up that constant state of suspicion and anger. Perhaps...perhaps this could work out after all.
"So," Rex finally says, his voice a mix of curiosity and apprehension, "how do we find this demon king's castle?"
The door at the far end of the room leads outside to a dark alley. At the other end, you can see a faint glow coming from a nearby house; it's likely where the demons are causing trouble. As you step out into the alley, the cool night air washes over your sweaty skin, making you shiver slightly.
The sound of fighting echoes through the darkness, growing louder as you approach the source. A demon has taken up residence in a nearby house, terrorizing the neighborhood and causing all sorts of chaos.
watching from outside, keeping myself hidden. I say to myself weird how the bandits are the heroes? Getting rid of demons? Sighs this doesn't make any sense but whatever...
You hear a demon roar of anger and pain as one of its minions falls in battle. It sounds close by; the fight must be happening inside the house. You could try to sneak in through a window or find another way in, hoping that you can take down the demon before it notices you.
Or...you could wait for Rex and his men to arrive, knowing that they'll likely engage in a full-on battle with the demon. Either option has its risks;
Rex raises an eyebrow at this, unconvinced. "A likely story," he mutters under his breath, not taking his eyes off of you for even a moment. His gaze travels over your body appreciatively, lingering on the curves of your breasts and hips before returning to meet your gaze once more.
"Perhaps I should just take your word for it," he says, a dangerous glint in his eye. "But if you ever try to run from me again...I will make sure that you regret it."
"why do you want me so bad? You jumped into the ocean when you can't swim. You risked your life for a slim chance at catching me.." *I say as I pull myself to sit next to him on the pier. My tail is still in the water as it's so long. My tail is light purple."
Rex snorts again, this time more amused than derisive. "Oh, don't flatter yourself," he says dismissively. "I could catch you easily if I wanted to. It was more a test of your abilities...to see how far you would go." He pauses, considering his words carefully before continuing. "But there is something about you...something that sets you apart from the rest of your kind. Perhaps it's your innocence, or maybe it's just the fact that you look so damn good..."
