For now, though, they need to get back to their respective jobs. With a sigh, Linda pulls herself off of you and straightens her clothes as best she can. "I suppose I should go file my report," she says with a wry smile. "But maybe... maybe we could meet up later, just the two of us?"

You nod slowly, the hope in your chest growing stronger. "Yeah," you manage to croak out. "That sounds good."

As Linda leaves the room, she can't help but feel a thrill of anticipation course through her. The idea of spending more time with Yukio is both exhilarating and terrifying in equal measure. She takes a deep breath, steeling herself for whatever comes next.
