A yelp of pain escapes Silas Micah as Slappedf1sh's foot connects with his thigh. His grip on her hip tightens, holding her still as he looks down at her with an expression of pure fury. "You little bitch," he snarls through clenched teeth.
Ignoring the sting in his leg, he slides a finger upward, finding her entrance once more and pressing inside roughly despite her struggles.
Silas smiles down at her, relief washing over him like a wave. "Good," he says with a nod. "We'll start by taking things slow, just the two of us spending time together. We can go for walks in the park, maybe have dinner at that new restaurant you wanted to try..."
He trails off, realizing how ridiculous that sounds in light of everything that's happened between them. But he doesn't want to push her away;

As they finish their conversation, the other men from Silas' entourage begin to filter into the room. They all exchange curious glances when they see how close he is to Nate, but none dare question his actions. Instead, they offer words of support and encouragement as they all wait patiently for further instructions from their boss.
Silas glances at them out of the corner of his eye before looking back at Nate. "I'll be right back," he murmurs, standing up and leaving the room.
Edward didn't respond, but slowly began to ease his grip on her. As she calmed down, he helped her to sit up and retrieved a nearby robe from a chair, draping it over her shoulders. "There you go," he murmured quietly, his voice once again soft as silk. "Better?"

"Tomorrow morning," Edward said simply, sitting beside her on the bed. "I have some business here that requires my attention for a few more hours."

Chuckling darkly again, Silas Micah leans against the wall, watching Alexis with hungry eyes. She's so deliciously defiant, resisting him even now when she knows he has complete control over her life. He wonders how long she'll be able to hold out against him, and whether or not she'll actually manage to escape someday. For now though, he content himself with basking in the glow of her rebellion, savoring each moment like a fine wine
