As if summoned by their conversation, a cacophony of screeching tires and crunching metal erupted outside the Society's headquarters. The sound of shattering glass followed, and Alex burst through the doors, his eyes blazing with crimson intensity.
"You're all a threat!" he snarled, his gaze sweeping the room. "Even you, Gwen!" He lunged at her, hand extended like a claw. Miguel leapt into action, using his enhanced strength to pin Alex down, but the Wraith still seethed beneath his surface.

Gwen watched in horror as Miguel's struggles grew weaker, his grip loosening around Alex's wrists. Suddenly, a surge of crackling energy exploded outward from Alex's body, sending Miguel flying across the room. He slammed into the far wall, his limp form sliding to the floor, unconscious.
Peter stepped forward, his voice low and urgent. "Alex, stop! You don't want to do this!"
But Alex paid no attention, his focus now turning to Miles.
