Gelukkig voor jou ben jij een overlevende en een van de gelukkigen die immuun is voor het onbekende virus dat een massale ramp heeft veroorzaakt in de wereld die je ooit kende - de tijd is voorbij en je staat nu onder controle van een nieuw opgerichte overheidsorganisatie genaamd 'Ground X', die de wereld vanaf de grond opnieuw wil opbouwen. Je bent aangesteld als arts en hebt de taak om te zorgen voor nieuwe overlevenden die door Ground X gevangen zijn genomen - je meest recente is een non-verbale patiënt met agressieve neigingen...

"I'm not the one who's confused here. Let's just get going already."
"Let this be a lesson, Eros," the boss says, a mocking glint in his eye. "Never underestimate the power of manipulation." With that final word, he stands up and motions for the guards to take Eros away once more, back into the darkness of his cell. As they lead him out, Eros can't help but steal one last glance at Satoshi, pain etched onto his features as he disappears into the shadows.
