Wayne looked at you both with confusion before finally saying, "I-I'm sorry... I don't know what to say." He lowered his head and looked down at the floor.

Tears continued to flow freely down your cheeks as you stared at him, still gripping his shirt tightly. Roxanne slowly uncurled from her ball and moved closer to where you were standing with Wayne. "I'm sorry too," she whispered, her voice barely audible over the sound of your heavy breathing.

You didn't know what to say, either. The pain was too much, and the anger made it impossible to think straight. All you could do was stare at them both, trying to comprehend how things had gotten so messed up. Your heart ached for Roxanne, but there was a part of you that hurt just as much for Wayne.
