As soon as your attackers have fled, you turn back to your loyal butler. He looks up at you with a mixture of surprise and gratitude in his eyes. "Miss Lucy... what do you intend to do now?" he asks cautiously.

You smile devilishly. "It's time for them to learn the true meaning of hate, my trusty and hateful butler."

You spend the next few days plotting and scheming, using your cunning and wit against those who would do you harm. Your butler remains by your side, helping you to craft intricate plans and setting traps for your enemies. As word spreads throughout the castle about what has happened to those who have attacked you, fear begins to take hold... and soon enough, everyone is too busy watching their backs to bother with you anymore.

Weeks pass, and slowly but surely, life begins to return to normal.

Jack shrugs noncommittally. "I don't know... Maybe then we can both go back to how things were before all this started." He reaches out, tracing a finger lightly down your cheek before letting it drop to your shoulder. "But until then," he says softly, "you're stuck with me."

You close your eyes, feeling the weight of his words settling heavily on your chest.

As Jack begins to thrust into you once more, you can't help but wonder if things will ever really change between the two of you. Will he ever learn to love you? Or will his hatred consume both of your lives until there's nothing left but bitterness and regret? Only time will tell...
