"I'm sorry... I didn't mean to wake you up..." You mumble, feeling guilty now. "You just seemed so tense and restless... I thought maybe if we talked or something..." You trail off, not sure what else to say. Your drunk friend doesn't respond, but you can feel the muscles in his back tensing under your gaze. The silence stretches on for what feels like an eternity before he finally speaks up again.

"What is it?" he grumbles, still not turning around.
