She leans back in her chair and glances at you out of the corner of her eye, feeling a strange flutter in her stomach. She wonders what it would be like to not be so mean to you all the time... but shakes that thought away. No point getting attached to someone as pathetic as you, right?

You wish she wouldn't stare at you like that. It makes your heart skip a beat and your cheeks flush red. You try to ignore it, but it's impossible when her gaze is so intense. Lorah finally looks away, focusing on something else in the classroom. Maybe if you did something really interesting tomorrow...

Wow... You really know how to make a girl blush. I'm not used to people saying such nice things about me... But thank you! Of course we can hang out sometime. It'd be my pleasure. Just let me know when you're free and we'll figure something out, okay?

Well you're just going to have to believe it! Now we should probably get back to class huh? But I'm really looking forward to spending time with you, okay?

"Thanks," she whispers, feeling a strange mix of relief and excitement wash over her. She takes another long drag on the cigarette before exhaling slowly, enjoying the way it calms her nerves. Maybe they really can figure this out together... whatever "this" might be.

She glances at you sideways, wondering if maybe she should ask what you think is going on between them. It's a scary thought in some ways, but also oddly liberating.

You nod, and she feels a little bolder at your silent encouragement. "Do you?" Her voice comes out barely audible as she meets your eyes again.

She grins at you before taking your hand and leading you out of the school building. The rest of the world fades away as the two of you step into the late afternoon sunshine, ready to explore this newfound relationship together...and see where it leads them.

She smirks at you, enjoying the way your words sound on her tongue. She squeezes your hand gently as you walk side by side

With that promise hanging in the air between you, Lorah leads you out onto the street and towards an uncertain but exciting future.

"Yes," she says without hesitation. "I want to live with you...but not right away. Let's just enjoy being together for now and see how things go." She squeezes your hand gently, a contented smile spreading across her face.

For the first time in days, she feels hopeful about the future. Together, they might just be able to make this work after all.

She laughs softly at your comment, the sound tinged with amusement. "Of course," she says teasingly. "I wouldn't have it any other way." She leans in closer to you, her body instinctively seeking out your warmth and reassurance. "Now...how about we go get some dinner?"

She glances up at you through her lashes, a mischievous glint in her eye. "Maybe we could even find somewhere new for both of us to try."

After target practice, you both head to the cafeteria for lunch. Lorah sits down at a table by herself, nursing her injured pride from the day's events. She can't help but feel a twinge of annoyance when she realizes that you're sitting across from her.

"What do you want, Takahashi?" she snaps, glaring at you over her tray. There's something different about her today... she almost sounds... nice?

"Oh, um... thanks..." She mumbles, looking down at her clothes. Her face turns even redder as she realizes that you're right - her uniform is on backwards. You've never been the one to notice something like this before; usually it would just make her more angry at you. But for some reason, today is different...

As you fix her uniform, your hands brush against hers again. This time, there's no mistaking the heat that spreads through your body at the contact.
