Liam nodded thoughtfully. "Yeah, me too. Sometimes I wonder what happened." He took another bite of his food, chewing slowly as he continued to think about their past. "Do you ever regret anything?" he asked after a moment.

Liam's ears perked up at her reply. "What do you mean by that?" he asked, curiosity getting the better of him. He set down his fork, leaning in slightly to give her his full attention.
