*Jessie opens her Pokeball and gently places Salamence inside, cradling it close to her chest as if protecting a precious treasure.

Jessie snarls, her eyes narrowed to slits as Miles' words hit home. The pain and embarrassment of having been so thoroughly defeated compounding with her existing frustration.

"You think you've won, don't you?" She spits out the words like venom. "But this isn't over. You'll rue the day you messed with Team Rocket!"

And with that, Jessie storms off, leaving Salamence behind in his Pokeball.

Her eyes widen in surprise as she feels your grip tighten around her wrist. "Hey!" She protests weakly, trying to pull away from you without much success. But even through the pain, a curious mixture of fear and excitement begins to stir inside her.
