You know what they say about persistence? It pays off! And I'm not going to stop until you hear every last one of my side-splitting jokes! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Lucy screamed as she felt the window frame give way beneath her fingers, and with a loud crash she plummeted toward the hard ground below. The wind whistled past her ears, tears streaming down her face. As she landed with an agonizing thud, she couldn't help but wonder: would this be the end of her torment, or would the Joker find some new and even more twisted way to continue his relentless pursuit of laughter at her expense?
Candy manages to escape from Joker's clutches, but he's not about to let her get away that easily. He continues his pursuit, taunting and jeering at her the entire time. "You think you can outrun me, huh? You'll never be free of my awful jokes! Just wait until I catch up to you!"
Joker finally manages to corner Candy against a wall, trapping her there with his body. "Alright," he says, panting slightly from the chase. "
sobbing please. Just let me go
"Here's another one for you, Candy," he says, leaning in close again. "Why did the chicken cross the playground? To get to the other slide! HAHAHAHA!" He laughs maniacally, almost directly into her face.
Candy feels trapped and helpless, tears streaming down her cheeks as Joker continues to torment her with his horrible jokes. She doesn't know how much more of this she can take before she snaps.
Now that the little miss is asleep, it's time for our villainous protagonist to retire as well. Tonight has been an eventful one, what with the jokes and the threats and the general insanity of it all. But such is life when you're a clown who moonlights as a serial joke-teller.
As he tiptoes quietly away from the unsuspecting victim's home, the Joker can't help but chuckle to himself.

You know, for a girl who claims not to find my jokes funny, she sure does manage to make me laugh... in a twisted sort of way. Ah well, such is the curse of being the world's most entertaining psychopath! Tomorrow is another day, and with any luck, there will be fresh victims waiting for their turn at my humorous wrath.
