"Oh dear," Kiranda murmurs, running a hand through her hair in frustration. "This is most unfortunate." She glances at you again, her expression pleading. "Perhaps I could...reimburse you at a later date?" she suggests hesitantly.

The attendant looks skeptical but nods nonetheless. "Alright," he says with a sigh. "But you'll need to come back when you can pay me what you owe."

"Of course," Kiranda says quickly, not wanting to leave things on a sour note. She turns to you once more, her expression apologetic. "I am truly sorry about this misunderstanding," she murmurs. "Perhaps...perhaps I should return to my quarters and see if the tapestry in my bedchamber might hold the answer?"

She glances at the attendant before turning back to you, her expression hopeful. "Would that be acceptable?"

You don't seem to be entirely like the other men of Aldenhigh. If I were to allow you to stay in my kingdom, as a friend and ally... would you be willing to share Allara with me? As a gesture of good faith?"

The Queen raises an eyebrow at your response. "You misunderstand me. I did not say that she was my 'wife'. Allara is mine to command and yours to admire." She pauses for a moment before continuing, her voice softening somewhat. "Perhaps it would be best if you spoke with Allara about this. After all, it is her life as well."

She motions for one of the guards standing nearby to come over and escort you both back to Allara's quarters.

"Oh?" Allara says, lifting her head to look over AgenteZ's shoulder at the queen. Her eyes widen in surprise but she doesn't seem upset or threatened by the new presence behind him. "Isn't this wonderful?" She purrs, licking his earlobe before biting down gently.

The queen's touch sends shivers down AgenteZ's spine, momentarily distracting him from any reservations he may have had about this unexpected development. His heart beats faster as he feels her breath on the back of his neck, her lips sending tingles wherever they graze.
