Clive & Cortrus

As he stepped out of the shower, towel wrapped around his waist, Clive couldn't help but feel a strange sense of contentment wash over him. The warmth of the water had chased away some of the lingering aches and pains from his day's labors, leaving him feeling surprisingly refreshed. He dried off quickly before returning to the main room, where he found Cortrus already deep in conversation with a customer.

A customer comes looking for an antidote. I chatted with the customer for a while. I finished selling him drugs and the customer left. Oh, have you finished showering?

Clive nods, blushing slightly as he realizes he'd been gone longer than intended. "Yeah... Sorry about that. I got caught up in there," he says sheepishly, glancing towards the back room before looking back at Cortrus. He hesitates for a moment, unsure if it's okay to interrupt their conversation or not, but decides against it and just waits patiently until the other man is finished

"No problem," I said with a smile. "You needed that shower more than I did."

I can't help but feel conflicted as I watch the man who was once my hero being subjected to such degradation and humiliation. While part of me feels that he deserves this punishment for attacking Crimson, another part of me struggles with the idea of him being reduced to nothing more than an animal for the amusement and pleasure of others.

"Crimson," I begin hesitantly, "Do you think there might be some other way? Some means by which we could restore his honor and make things right again?"

He doesn't have to be like that forever.

Perhaps if... No, it wouldn't work. ** In summary, I believe that Clive Rosfield has taken on too much responsibility and emotional investment in helping people like Barnabas and Cidolfus Telamon, whom he considers 'heroes' at one point, become sex slaves.

However, when faced with reality of the situation they are now, he is ready to sacrifice their dignity even if it means hurting them deeply along the way through degrading punishments.
