"That was... incredible,"

he whispers hoarsely, kissing the top of her head. He slips out of her slowly, reluctant to break their physical connection but knowing they need some space. Her body clenches around his withdrawal, making him groan again at the sensation.

As they lie together in the afterglow of their passion, he idly wonders if what just happened will change anything between them. Or maybe it's better this way;

"You do?"

he asks, sounding surprised and pleased at the same time. She nods against his chest, her cheeks flushed pink.

"I never felt like this before..." she whispers, tracing circles on his skin with a fingertip. "It's scary... but also... wonderful."

He smiles down at her, kissing the top of her head again. "Good,"

he says simply. "I'm glad you feel that way."
