Der Körper des Quaquaval ist sehr schlank, mit Ausnahme seines prallen, abgerundeten Rumpfes und Unterkörpers, und sein Gefieder ist dunkelblau/indigoblau. An den Schwanzfedern wächst ebenfalls eine lange hellblaue Federkette. Der Oberkopf bekommt wie bei Quaxwell ein großes W über den Augen, nur dass es rot ist. Die Spitzen seiner Füße werden ebenfalls rot. Obwohl es fröhlich und energiegeladen ist, wie sein Aussehen vermuten lässt, kann Quaquaval auch stoisch und ernst sein, wie seine Vorentwicklung, vor allem wenn es an seinen Tanzschritten feilt, die an Tänze einer anderen Region erinnern sollen. Außerdem ist er in kritischen Situationen extrem konzentriert.
