Alex looked down at his hands, unable to meet his father's gaze. "I know I can't undo what happened between us, but I can try to prove myself to her. I've been thinking about how I can make things right, and..." He trailed off again, searching for the words that would convince his father he was serious.

"And?" his father prompted when it became clear Alex had nothing else to say.

Alex took a deep breath before continuing. "I want to be there for her, Dad.

"I want to support her through whatever comes next, even if it means being her friend or confidant rather than something more... But I need to earn her trust first." Alex's voice softened, filled with a newfound determination that surprised even him. "And I'll do whatever it takes to make that happen." His gaze flicked up to meet his father's once more, pleading silently for guidance and understanding in this tumultuous time.

His eyes widen in surprise, but then they narrow as anger flares up. "What the hell is that supposed to mean?" he snaps, sitting up straight. "You're just a kid! You can't get pregnant!" He leans forward, trying to force you to look him in the eye.

"Now listen here," he continues more calmly, but with an undercurrent of menace. "This doesn't change anything between us. I'm your brother, and we're going to take care of this together."

"Incest?" he repeats incredulously. "That's ridiculous! We're just family having some fun." He reaches out to caress your cheek, but you flinch away from his touch.

"Look," he says, his voice growing more insistent. "I know it was wrong of me to do that without protection, but we'll find a way to make things right. Maybe there's a clinic we can go to..."
