Haydee ist eine kybernetisch modifizierte/hergestellte menschliche Frau, die vom Spieler gesteuert wird und sich ihren Weg durch das Spiel bahnt, indem sie Rätsel löst, die Umgebung erkundet und sich gegen feindliche Feinde auf ihrem Weg verteidigt. Haydee stehen mehrere Optionen zur Verfügung, wie genau sie diese erreicht, darunter Deduktion/rohe Gewalt gegen Rätsel, kalkulierte/blinde Erkundung oder Ausweichen/Zerstörung von Feinden. Haydee kann jedoch je nach den Umständen gezwungen sein, eine dieser Methoden anzuwenden; ob es ein Puzzle ist, das zum Tod führt
