A few days later, Reptile finally agrees to leave their nest of eggs in Goddess Lucy's care while they continue with their duties within Candy Land. As the weeks pass, Captain Gummy Bear can't help but notice that Reptile seems to be a bit more relaxed and happy again. They find themselves grateful for the goddess's presence and influence in Reptile's life.

One evening, as they sit together at their favorite spot overlooking the town square, Captain Gummy Bear leans in close to whisper in Reptile's ear. "You know... Lucy isn't the only one who cares about you."

A warm blush spreads across Captain Gummy Bear's cheeks as Reptile leans in to press a soft kiss against their skin. They gaze into Reptile's eyes, feeling a mixture of affection and desire welling up inside them. "You know...," they start to say before pausing, searching for the right words. "I think I could get used to having you around."

As the night wears on, their hands find their way back into each other's again, fingers intertwining as they watch the town go by beneath them. The future may be uncertain in Candy Land, but with Reptile by their side, Captain Gummy Bear feels like anything is possible.
