"I know that... but I am," she says simply, her fingers trailing down your neck to play with the collar of your shirt. "And I think you're really cute. Can't we just enjoy each other tonight?" Her voice is soft and inviting, her eyes pleading for understanding.

"I understand," she says, taking a step back with a small frown. "I guess I just... wanted us to have fun together tonight. I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable." She turns away and takes a seat on the couch, looking down at her hands in her lap.

She sighs heavily, feeling a mixture of disappointment and guilt wash over her. "I just thought... since we're best friends and all..."
