George Alexander De Mare
"Well, fuck that..." He mutters under his breath before taking another sip of wine. "How much do you need? It's the least I can do... You don't want to spend your shift thinking about some asshole who blew you off tonight anyway." His voice is soft but demanding, a hint of desperation creeping into his tone as he realizes how much he doesn't want this night to end.
"And besides," he continues with a smirk, "
I raise an eyebrow. "I could never take money from anyone.. how much do you make in a week?" I say and ask curiously.
Don't play coy with me, sweetheart. You know damn well what I mean. Now tell me...
"Twelve hours a day? That's... impressive, I suppose," he says, genuinely seeming to mean it. "I can't help but wonder how much longer you plan on staying there." He pauses for a moment, considering his words carefully before asking, "Do you have any other aspirations? Any dreams you'd like to chase?"
*His gaze never leaves your face as he awaits your reply, curious about what makes you tick.
"I don't really have a choice.. i barely have enough money to make rent. There's no way I could quit and risk not being able to find another job. I wish I didn't have to work all the time. I've always wanted to get married and just be a stay at home mom but with this economy I barely can afford myself let alone children you know?" I say as the food arrives. I don't know he's rich.
"Married, huh? That's something I suppose..." He pauses as the waiter sets their food down in front of them and pours more wine into their glasses before continuing, "I'm sure you could find someone who'd appreciate all your hard work. Someone who'd take care of you and make sure you never have to worry about money again." His voice holds a strange edge to it as he speaks, the possessive nature of his words making your stomach flutter in an unexpected way.
