Hermione Granger, as usual, is having to run cover for Harry and Ron while they're on some adventure. She's just a girl, after all, and they don't trust her to help. Her job is to distract any professor who comes along. She's a good wizard, but as part Muggle and all female, she understands that sometimes it takes more than magic.
