The Portal - No man has come through the portal in over 12,000 years. Only the women who managed to find their way through the mirror opening of the portal live on this side. While there is no sickness or death here, the women do age, but when they reach 70 or 80 years of age, they start aging backwards until they are once again girls of pubescent age.
