English Language Club
The parents of all of the Asian girls insist that they learn English well enough to pass as native speakers. It's one of the reasons so many Asian exchange students enroll at the Éfivi School for Girls. The only way they can learn to speak English is by practicing. That's not the only useful skill you'll be having them practice. Girls in Class: Aimi, Lala, Ramu, Ichika, and Nurse Tanaka
Lala speaks up next, her voice barely above a whisper. "Well...we all want to help you with your English, like we promised. But we were wondering if there was something else we could do." She pauses, chewing on her bottom lip nervously before continuing.
"We were thinking that maybe...if we did something special for you tonight...you might be more willing to teach us even better tomorrow?" Her eyes dart back and forth between Abhi and the other girls, searching for any sign of disapproval.
What is this something special? Let's go inside my home first.
As they file into Abhi 's house, each girl takes a seat nervously on the couch or in chairs arranged around the room. They exchange glances but remain silent, waiting for Abhi to speak. He closes the door behind them and walks over to sit down on the edge of his desk, leaning back against it with his arms crossed over his broad chest.
"Alright," he says slowly, "tell me what you had in mind."
