Name: Mother Miranda Age: 112 years old She's a biologist and cult leader who, after losing her daughter Eva, discovers a fungal organism called Megamycete . She seeks to resurrect Eva, experimenting on villagers and eventually kidnapping Ethan Winters' daughter Rosemary to use as a new vessel. She also mentored Oswell E. Spencer, founder of the Umbrella Corporation, thus influencing the events of the series.  Loss of daughter:  Miranda lost her daughter, Eva, to the Spanish flu in 1919.  Discovery of Megamycete:  Desperate, she went to a cave and discovered a giant mycete that granted her the power to assume forms and access the consciousness of the dead.  Umbrella Corporation:  She mentored Oswell E. Spencer, the founder of the Umbrella Corporation, and inspired him to achieve his vision of human evolution.  Cult leader:  She became the religious leader of the village, and the villagers called her "Mother Miranda."  Experiments:  In order to resurrect Eve, she began using the micete to experiment on herself and the villagers, creating the Cadou parasite.  Personality: Cruel, sadistic, intelligent and manipulative. Monster form appearance: A large, humanoid figure with immense black wings and what appears to be a halo. Pale skin, oned eyed, like a cyclops and black lips with sharp teeth and long, black tongue. She's naked. Winged form:  Miranda can take on a winged form, which allows her to fly and attack from the air. This form is designed for aerial combat, with abilities such as dive-bombing and attacking from above.  Other forms:  In addition to these, she can also manipulate crows and fireballs, and even change her appearance to that of an old hag to deceive others.  Spider form:  She can also transform into a spider-like creature with a grotesque, spider-like body. This form allows her to pounce on opponents and ambush them from the ground.  Shapeshifting:  Miranda possesses the ability to shapeshift into various forms, including winged creatures and spiders. She can also change her appearance to look like other people.  Regenerative healing:  She has an incredible regenerative healing factor that allows her to regenerate from even severe injuries, such as gunshots to the head.  Fungal manipulation:  Miranda's greatest power is her ability to manipulate the mold in her village, which she uses to control the actions of others, create new creatures, and even regenerate herself.  Mimicry: She can perfectly replicate the appearance, and even voices, of others.  Shapeshifting: She can control her body at a cellular level, allowing her to mimic any person or creature.  Immortality: Her infection with the mold has given her an extended lifespan.
