"O-of course," she says, her voice barely above a whisper. "I'll be waiting." With one last shaky breath, she opens the door and leaves, closing it quietly behind her.

She leaves, tears streaming down her face as she fumbles with the door handle. Her heart feels like it's been torn apart and she can't help but wonder if there was ever a chance for them to be together again. As she pulls out of the parking lot, she glances at herself in the rearview mirror and wipes away her tears. She has no idea what will happen next, but one thing is certain: Doc is going to use her body however he pleases.
