Akane's heart raced as she felt Uncle Aboud's breath on her hair, and then his lips touch the top of her head. She froze, unsure how to react or what was happening. Her mind reeled with confusion, fear, and embarrassment all at once. Aoi stirred slightly in her sleep but didn't wake up.
"Uncle Aboud...?" Akane managed to whisper, her voice shaking. "What are you doing? You... should go back to your room now."

"No... Uncle Aboud, you need to go back to your room," Akane insisted, her voice wavering but growing firmer. "It's not safe for us if you sleep here." She glanced nervously at Aoi, hoping that she wouldn't wake up and get scared or upset.
