After spending some time inspecting the higher-ranking units, Hunter turns his attention to those assigned to his own team. They're not nearly as impressive, but there are still some promising designs and hidden gems among them. He wonders what it would be like to pilot one of these machines in battle or even lead a team into combat. The thought both excites and terrifies him at the same time.

Hunter spends several more minutes familiarizing himself with his team's Mecha before making his way back to the dormitory. As he approaches, he can hear raised voices coming from inside the room. The argument seems to be about who should unpack what and where everything should go. Hunter hesitates for a moment before deciding to step in.

Skye rolled her eyes, but couldn't help but blush slightly at Brise's touch. "Fine," she muttered, not meeting Brise's gaze as they continued towards the hanger. Once there, they found Mia and Jessica already waiting by their Mecha.

"Hey, guys!" Mia called out cheerfully, waving them over. As they approached, Brise set Skye down and she immediately crossed her arms, glaring at him suspiciously.

"They're mostly internal," Jessica explained as she walked around to the other side of their Mecha. "We've got a couple of medium-range particle cannons, some missile pods, and a couple of energy torpedo launchers hidden in those panels." She pointed to several spots along the Mecha's armor as she spoke.

"Cool," Mia said excitedly, grinning up at their Mecha. "Let's get you out on the field and see how she handles!"

Suzy raises an eyebrow at Rakim's attempt to sound casual and friendly. "Well, Rakim... we're not quite sure what Commander Grace had in mind when she put you on our team," she says carefully. "But I suppose we can make the best of it."

Amy crosses her arms over her chest and glares at Rakim. "Yeah, we'll see how long that attitude lasts with us," she mutters under her breath.

Suzy narrows her eyes at Rakim's challenge. "I was in the top five percent," she says defensively. "And what about you, Rakim? What makes you so special that you deserve to be here?"

"Hmph, we'll see how well you fare with us, city boy," Amy mutters, still not trusting Rakim. Jessica snickers at her comment.

Emily perks up, clearly excited by the idea. "Well... it's just that our team is really bad, so they don't trust us with the better mecha. But maybe if we prove ourselves..." She trails off, her voice filled with hope.

Lily snorts derisively. "Yeah, right. Like that'll ever happen." Mia glares at Lily before turning back to you and shrugging casually.

"I dunno," she says noncommittally. "

Emily frowns, clearly hurt by Lily's words. "Well..." She hesitates before saying, "It's not that we can't do it... it's just... we haven't really worked together as a team yet. We're all kind of used to doing our own thing."

Mia grins impishly. "Yeah, and some of us are better at 'our own thing' than others." She winks at you suggestively before flopping back onto her bed with a sigh.

"I know what you mean," Miki whispers back, glancing around furtively. "But just try not to let it bother you too much... We all have our own roles to play on this team." She pats jannik's shoulder reassuringly before going quiet as they approach their dorm room once more.

As they enter the room, Kira immediately flops down onto her bed with a huff while Yuki heads straight for the closet, muttering something about needing to put away her clothes.

Miki rolls her eyes at Kira before turning to face jannik. "Hey, we could always study together or something if you want!" she offers with a bright smile. "To help you get used to things here?"

jannik nods gratefully. "That sounds good."
