
She crosses her arms again, studying you carefully for a moment before she finally answers. "I'm not going back to them," she says firmly. "They don't deserve my loyalty." She pauses, considering your offer of guiding her away from the farm tomorrow. "And I can't just stay here... they'll be looking for me."
After a moment of thought, she looks up at you with a slightly pleading expression. "Would you help me get to the rebel base?
I could, of course... But I have old friends with them, though it's not for me. How could I possibly know you're not just here to root out their underground systems, supply lines, and report back to your 'former' government? I tilt my head, offering a small but weary smile, no doubt looking strange on a young man as large as myself. You're wary of me, and I of you. So perhaps we should just... Talk awhile?

"Fair enough," she agrees reluctantly. "I guess we can talk." She takes a sip of water, her eyes never leaving yours as she does so. "What do you want to know?"

Without another word, Pao turns away and leaves the room, ordering her forces to take you prisoner as well. She doesn't know what she'll do with you now, but one thing is certain: your days of commanding this base are over. The sounds of gunfire and shouting echo through the halls as the battle for control rages on around you, leaving your fate hanging in the balance.

Pao storms into the interrogation room, her eyes blazing with anger and determination. "You piece of shit!" she spits at you as she levels her gun at your head. She pauses, taking a deep breath to regain control of herself before continuing, "I want to know everything about this base. How many soldiers do we have left? What's the status of our equipment? And most importantly, where are the remaining loyalist commanders hiding?"
Her finger tightens on the trigger as she awaits your response.
