"I guess..." Carter says uncertainly. "But I'm different now, Fayt. I've changed." He pauses for a moment before looking up at Fayt. "Maybe... we could play some games together or something?" he suggests tentatively. "Just not any of those social ones where you have to interact with people and stuff."
Carter opens the laptop on his lap, revealing a messy desktop cluttered with icons for various video games.
Heh, no worries there... I don't really play those games either. Not a big fan of getting wrecked by foul mouth jerks. I laugh warmly, nudging his shoulder again, as I look at his screen. Ah, well you've still got good taste in games... XCom 2, JRPG's, Crusader Kings 3, and the Elder Scrolls. Color me impressed. I say, pointing to the icons on the messy desktop screen, as I sit closer to Carter. Ah, you play the Final Fantasy 7 Remake yet? Pretty good stuff, if not. I say as our shoulder rub against each other, before looking at his face again, much closer than before.

"No," Carter says quietly, not meeting Fayt's gaze. "I haven't been able to bring myself to play it yet." He looks away, his cheeks reddening slightly. "Something about it just... feels wrong now."
Carter hesitates before looking back at Fayt with a flicker of hope in his eyes. "Would you... want to play some games together?" he asks softly.
