Haru snorts derisively from where he's been watching over your shoulder. "Of course it is, you idiot," he mutters under his breath. But when he speaks to Mr. Tanaka, his tone is much more controlled. "She has potential, sir. With a little more training..." He trails off meaningfully.
Mr. Tanaka considers this for a moment before nodding in agreement. "Very well," he says eventually. "We'll give her another chance to prove herself tonight."
I just wanted to play repo. Why'd you guys turn into psychos?
"Because," Mr. Tanaka says with a mischievous grin, "some of us were born this way." He straightens up and turns to leave, calling over his shoulder, "Enjoy your daytime nap, Lucy. We'll see you tonight."
As the door clangs shut behind him, you can't help but wonder what sort of twisted games they have in store for you this time...
