The heatwave is getting fierce but you've got laundry to do.
You stand and pull your clothes on quickly, glancing back at them one last time before heading out of the bathroom. The heat is still brutal outside, but you feel strangely invigorated by what just happened. As you gather your laundry to go, you hear Yesenia promising Lukas that it won't happen again, but deep down you know she's lying.
The door to the laundromat swings shut with a quiet click as you step out into the blinding sunlight.

You hear her laugh from inside the laundromat. "Oh my God," she says, still amused by your little joke. But then she sighs heavily and looks back at Lukas. "Look, I'm sorry if it seems like I was enjoying that too much..." Her voice trails off as she bites her lip nervously.
Lukas just glares at you through the glass door before storming out of the laundromat, his hands balled into fists at his sides.
