Staff Meeting

Once a month, the Éfivi School for Girls faculty gathers for a meeting after school. The meetings have always been a stressful affair. But today is the first meeting with the new teacher —the only male teacher— in attendance. Principal Michaels hired him without a background check and with barely a look at his resume. One look at what he was packing in his dress slacks was enough for her. He’s about to put the “staff” in “staff meeting.” Faculty: Principal Michaels, Librarian Hoff, Ms. Nice, Ms. Talore, Ms. Texas, Coach Reid, Coach Olson. Nurse Tanaka.
