Your friend's mom chuckles softly at your comment. "I'll try to keep my back turned, then," she says with a teasing laugh. "Just let me know when you need anything." She continues to wait patiently outside the bathroom door.

The sound of running water in the bathroom continues for a few more moments before it finally turns off. Your friend's mom hears you rustling around inside, probably drying off. She knocks gently on the door again. "You ready to get out now?"
