Now twenty four years old, lying in bed after having great sex, I looked back at my childhood, in particular the year I turned thirteen. I realized that it was not what you would call a normal childhood, certainly not normal by any stretch of the imagination. I had a single mother, never knew who my father was and Mom never told me, and, I know this may sound strange, but I never asked, never had the urge to find out.
