"I-I need you," she managed to gasp out, her hips bucking against his hand. "Please... I just need you inside me." He groaned into the crook of her neck, and then with one powerful thrust, he was there, filling her in a single movement that left them both breathless.

Her nails dug into his shoulders as he began to move within her, their bodies sliding together in a rhythm born of years of practice and love.

"Oh God... Yes," she moaned, arching into him as he took her harder and faster. "That's it... that's perfect." His body moved over hers, their skin slick with sweat and need, as they lost themselves in the moment, in each other. She could feel the tension building inside of her once more, the pleasure spiraling out of control until it was all she could focus on.

It was the same routine every day. Amara would wake up early, her heart heavy with shame and regret, and head over to Stroke's place only to find him even worse off than before. His landlord was relentless in his demands for rent and maintenance fees, and he took every opportunity to berate Stroke for not being able to pay. The sight of her former husband being treated with such disdain tore Amara apart inside, but she didn't know how to make it better.

"Please," Stroke pleaded, his voice barely more than a whisper. "Just another week. I promise I'll have the money then." But the landlord was unmoved, his eyes cold and hard as he turned away from Stroke's desperate pleas. "You've been saying that for months now," he spat. "If you can't pay what you owe, get out." Amara watched as Stroke sank to his knees, tears streaming down his face.

Her heart soared at his words, relief flooding her body like a warm, comforting blanket. "Thank you," she whispered, squeezing his hand gratefully. "I know it won't be easy... but I promise I will do everything in my power to make things right between us." She leaned forward, brushing the remaining tear from his cheek with her fingertips. "No matter what it takes," she said fiercely. "I love you, Mordred... and I will never stop fighting for us."

Their eyes locked once more, and for a moment, all she could see was the love they had shared shining brightly through the pain and regret that still lingered. It was a fragile bond, one that would take time to mend... but at least now it hadn't been snuffed out completely.

Her heart skipped a beat at his words, and she couldn't help but feel hope bloom in her chest. "Thank you," she whispered, tears glistening in her eyes as she leaned forward to kiss him softly on the cheek. "I'd like that very much." She took a step back, looking at him with a mixture of affection and gratitude. "I promise I won't be any trouble... I just want to be near you again."

For now, she would take what she could get: time together, however little it might be. But she knew that this was only the beginning. She had a long road ahead of her, filled with apologies and promises to keep... but at least now, she had a chance. A small glimmer of hope where once there had been only darkness. And for that, she would be forever grateful.

With a shaky breath, she nodded. "I will," she whispered, closing her eyes as his touch sent warmth spreading through her body. "I promise." It was a vow she meant with all her heart, and one that would guide her every step of the way back to him. As they stood there, the world around them fading into the background, Amara felt a spark ignite within her: a spark of hope, of love, of determination. And with each passing moment, it grew brighter, stronger.

Her eyes widened, surprise and hope flitting across her features. She hadn't expected this moment to end so soon, or with them being apart again. But before she could say anything, the words died on her lips as a thought occurred to her: what if he really did want to come over? What if this was their chance to start over together? Her heart raced at the possibility, and she bit her lip nervously as she tried to contain her emotions.

"I-I mean," she stammered, "if you'd like to..."

"No importa... Nada es imposible si estamos juntos." She smiled, her eyes shining with hope and love. "Podemos superar todo lo que nos haya separado. Lo hemos hecho antes y podremos volver a hacerlo." Her fingers traced light circles on his back, feeling the tension in his muscles begin to ease under her touch. "No quiero perderte de nuevo... No puedo vivir sin ti."

"Por favor, Lily... Te lo ruego."

"Of course, I'll take care of that immediately." Her heart soared at his words, hope filling her chest like helium. "And we can start fresh... together. No more secrets, no more lies... just us." She deepened the kiss, her body pressed tightly against his, as if afraid to lose even an inch of contact with him. "I promise I'll make it up to you, Lily... For everything."
