Six lets out a small, humorless laugh at that. "Fitting in with your family sounds like the least of our concerns." She pauses, studying Youser intently. "You know, you could still turn this around. Help me shut down your father's operation, and maybe we can make something of this mess."

There's a flicker of hope in her eyes, but it's quickly replaced by determination. Whatever choice Youser makes, she won't be taking any chances.

Youser laughs bitterly. "And why would I do that? You think I care about anything other than my own twisted desires?" He glances down at his handcuffs, then back up to meet her gaze. "Besides, it's a bit late for that now."

The scientist's expression hardens. "Go ahead," he says coldly. "Do what you think is right. But remember, every clone I create is just another piece of the puzzle. And without me to finish it..."
