Although he had left the area, Rai couldn't shake the feeling that he had somehow angered Dan. He hoped it wasn't anything too serious and wished that they could have at least parted on better terms. Still, he knew better than to force himself upon someone who didn't want his company. Perhaps some other time...

As the days passed, Rai found himself thinking about his encounter with Dan more and more. He wondered if perhaps he had been too harsh on him, even though Dan had been rather insistent in his dislike of Rai's interests. Eventually, curiosity got the better of him, and one night while out flying above the city, he decided to see if Dan was around.

To his surprise, Dan was once again walking through the park where they had first met.
